Maci Martini, a seventh-grader from Pequot Lakes Middle School competed in the Minnesota Elks State Hoop Shoot contest in Hutchinson on Saturday, Feb. 17. She received fourth place in the 12-13 year old age category. She competed against girls from International Falls, Worthington, Red Wing and other communities. Martini represented the Brainerd Elks Lodge No. 615.

7th grade Patriots win 3 tournaments

It has been quite a turnaround in Season Two as CLC finished the regular season with a thrilling overtime win at Hibbing last Saturday. The win earned CLC a spot in this year's Region 13B tournament at Thief River Falls. It's the first appearance for the Raiders at the regional since 2007. Illustration
