Another lakes area coach has decided he's had enough. Veteran baseball coach Pat Held was scheduled to serve as an assistant coach of the Staples-Motley Cardinals this spring. A few days into his 50th season, according to his post on Facebook, he was asked to resign because a few parents indicated their sons would not play for the Cardinals if Held was the junior varsity coach. When that message was conveyed to Held, he resigned.
