Wynn, Semmler, Rainwater co-MVPs for Tiger girls

Bailey Wynn, Alyssa Semmler and Gabby Rainwater were named co-most valuable players at the Pine River-Backus Tigers girls basketball team's year-end banquet on Monday, March 21.

The trio were all members of the all-conference first team. Wynn was named the team's offensive player of the year, while Rainwater led the team with 270 rebounds and Semmler led the team with 79 blocks.

Additionally, Tiger guard Shelby Adkins was named defensive player of the year. She was also named a member of the all-conference second team.

Riley Hirschey - who earned an all-conference honorable mention - was named the Tigers' rookie of the year.

Rainwater, Sidney Lodge and Anna Felthous were named the team's co-most improved players, and Emma Barchus earned the Tiger Award.
