Area Girls Basketball: Lane, Patriots outscore Gobblers

PEQUOT LAKES—Olivia Lane poured in 28 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Pequot Lakes Patriots to a 67-45 non-conference win over the Aitkin Gobblers Tuesday.

Corina Ruud added 14 points and Kristin Skog was credited with seven assists for the 11-1 Patriots.

Taylor Ehnstrom paced Aitkin with 10 points.

Jordan Carr added 11 points and Morgan Glenz 10 for the Pirates who have won five straight and outscored New York MIlls 29-9 in the second half after trailing 24-22 at the intermission.

The Eagles entered the game 12-0 overall, 6-0 in the conference.
