These Northern Lakes Lightning players were honored in the Mid-State Conference.PHOTO BY VANESSA SELLNERNick Olson was the most valuable player for the Northern Lakes Lightning boys' hockey team.
Brett Gontarek was Most Improved and Max Tangen was Rookie of the Year in the All Mid-State Conference. Nick Reed and Jake Hyytinen were both All Mid-State Conference players.
Mitch Stangel, Jared Sewall and Josh Maucieri were All Mid-State honorable mention.
Stangel also won the Hobey Baker Character Award.
The team thanks the families who were involved this year and congratulates the seniors.
