Mucha leads Peninsula at Lynx Loppet

Soldotna senior Bree Mucha led the Kenai Peninsula with a sixth-place finish in the Lynx Loppet on Friday and Saturday at Kincaid Park in Anchorage.

Mucha finished 10th in Friday’s classical race before moving up to sixth-place in Saturday’s freestyle race. The Homer girls were the top team from the Peninsula, taking 10th. Soldotna was 11th.

On the boys side, Soldotna’s Luke Michael led all boys finishers by finishing 12th overall. Michael was 13th in Friday’s classical race.
