Election season is still with us. Unfortunately instead of engaging in creative dialogue and offering ideas some individuals want to focus on the negative.

Mike Navarre is being criticized for receiving campaign contributions from across the state — Bethel, Fairbanks, Anchorage, Juneau. Of the almost 200 people who have contributed to Mike’s campaign 70% have come from the Kenai Peninsula — your neighbors in Kenai, Soldotna, Homer, Kasilof, Seward, and Hope. In addition to coming from across the entire state and Kenai Peninsula, Mike’s donors come from very different and diverse backgrounds — commercial fishermen, businessmen, health providers, retailers, teachers.

Mike has served on the board of the Boys & Girls Club for many years, providing a safe place for kids. And for the past twelve plus years Mike and his family have provided food for the Cancer Survivor dinner at the Central Peninsula Relay for Life.

Ask any group, association, club or school group around, when they ask Mike Navarre for help he’s there 100% of the time.

Mike Navarre has spent his entire career working for us, the residents of the Kenai Peninsula. As a public servant Mike has focused on the issues, working to find solutions.

Remember on October 25th to go to the polls and cast your ballot for Mike.
