We must put differences aside to save our fisheries
Greg Brush should be congratulated for putting his, and many many others, concerns so distinctly in his August 4th article. My belief and experience echos his concern. I fear that any action maybe too late. Too late for the recreational sports angler and too late for the commercial interests and future growth of Soldotna and Kenai. The bost of "world class fishing"on the Kenai river is no longer true and outfitters who continue to portray this misnomer may well be taken to task. The $300 that recreational anglers bring to the peninsula will quickly be a thing of the past.
All affected parties need to set aside their personal agendas for a final attempt to save what was a magnificent fishery.
