Marcille L. Jensen, 89, of Brainerd, MN passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Essentia Health St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. Services for Marcille will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:00PM at The Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa, MN with visitation beginning at 2:00PM at the church.

Marcille was born on March 5, 1929 in Isanti County, Minnesota. She lived with her family (Rob and Gladys Lauer and grandmother, Gana) at Pine Cliff Resort on Leech Lake until the age of 12. They later moved to the Pillager/Brainerd area. She graduated from Washington High School in Brainerd. She attended Business College in Minneapolis where she went on to work for a law firm as a legal secretary. Marcille met the love of her life, Mervin who was attending the U of M. They were married on August 2, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN. Brainerd became home when her husband accepted a teaching position at the high school. She and her husband owned and operated Little Pine Resort for several years. Marcille and Merv had many great memories over the years while at Little Pine Resort hosting many family reunions. It was a great place to raise their four boys. Marcy and Merv purchased Plywood Dakota (Minnesota) Business in Aberdeen, SD in 1978 and operated it until 1990. Through the years they lived many places in the lakes area.

Marcille is survived by her husband of 66 years, Merv; three sons, James (Janet), Mark (Karla), Bob (Deb); five grandsons; five granddaughters; and several great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Laurel Jensen; sister, Maureen Huset; brother, Dennis; cousin, Mary; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven; and brother, Vern. Memorials are preferred to Lutheran Church Of The Cross in Nisswa, MN. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
