John "Tim" Timothy Kreitter

John Timothy Kreitter, age 75 of Lady Lake, FL.; formerly of Crosby, passed away peacefully October 23, 2017. He was born to Robert and Janet (Hall) Kreitter on August 13, 1942 in Minneapolis. He married the love of his life Mary Ann (Heitala) Kreitter, April 21, 1962 in Minneapolis. They were married 55 years.

Together they raised three children; Elizabeth (Rick) Kleineck, Brainerd; Douglas (Kim) Kreitter, Henderson NV; Robert (Brenda) Kreitter, Huntersville, NC; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents.

He graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School in 1960. He attended Macalester College in St. Paul. He was an active member of DeMolay, Masons and Zuhrah Shriner and active in numerous other organizations.

They owned and operated the Shoe Inn in Crosby for a number of years. He was a Tool-and-Die maker for Honeywell in Minneapolis until he retired. They both enjoyed four years of traveling the country in an RV, before settling in Lady Lake.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, great-grandfather. A private memorial will be at a later date.
