Pequot Lakes celebrated the holiday season Saturday, Dec. 9, with its annual Santa's Bobbin' into Town event.

Children filled the Cole Memorial Building in the afternoon to watch a magic show with Magic Bob, whose final trick was pulling an actual rabbit out of a hat.

After a sing-along with Santa and Mrs. Claus, kids got to take pictures with Santa at the Hungry Loon Cafe, while others moved to Trailside Park for a bonfire, s'mores, hot cocoa and horse-drawn wagon rides.

The night finished off with the Light Up the Night Parade along Government Drive, where businesses and organizations got into the Christmas spirit with brightly lighted floats. Two of Santa's reindeer made an appearance, followed by Santa himself riding in a Pequot Lakes fire truck at the end of the parade.

The Babinski Foundation took first place in the parade, followed by the Pequot Lakes Park Board in second and the Hungry Loon in third.
