A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Sunday night in rural Walker. Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports a 37-year-old Walker woman was struck by a motor vehicle at 11:52 p.m. on Cass County Highway 13 in the Onigum area of Turtle Lake Township, in rural Walker. The vehicle left the scene.

Initially, segments of Highway 6 through Emily will be reduced to a single lane, from sunrise to sunset, Mondays through Saturdays. Later in the project, northbound Highway 6 will remain open on a single, narrow, temporary lane while southbound Highway 6 is closed and detoured.
