The Breezy Point Area Women's Club (BPAWC) honored the 2014 Central Lakes College (CLC) scholarship recipients at the monthly luncheon meeting Aug. 6 at Maucieri's in Crosslake.

The BPAWC supports two $600 scholarships a year to female, nontraditional students age 25 or older who meet the CLC guidelines for the number of college credits and have a 3.0 or higher grade point average.

Roshael Jacobsen is working toward an Associate in Arts degree and will graduate this fall. She plans to attend St. Cloud State University majoring in criminal justice and minoring in chemical dependency. She would like to work in the area of restorative justice.

Annamarie Hausken is working toward an Associate in Applied Science degree in accounting. She would like to pursue her dream job as an office manager or bookkeeper for a local small business.

After the luncheon, members toured The Northern Trackers railroad exhibit in Crosslake.
