Crosslake Dairy Queen

approved for drive-through

Crosslake Community Development Director Ken Anderson said the Crosslake Dairy Queen has been approved for a variance for a drive-through. Anderson said that a prospective buyer, Thomas Zabka, has plans to tear down the health foods store next door to the Dairy Queen to make room for the drive-through.

Anderson said that Dairy Queen is bank-owned and the purchase was contingent on planning and zoning approval from the city. He expected the sale would close before the end of the month.
