Motorcyclist dies after collision with deer in Duluth

DULUTH -- A motorcyclist was killed after striking a deer Wednesday morning in Duluth.

The Duluth Police Department reported the motorcyclist struck the deer while traveling eastbound about 8 a.m. July 18 on Grand Avenue near Bessemer Street.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, died in the crash.

Police haven’t released the motorcyclist’s name pending notification of the family.
