Firefighters free 18-year-old from crashed car
PILLAGER—Two drivers were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash at 8:07 a.m. Thursday on 21st Avenue Southwest, also known as Cass County Road 36, in Pillager.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office reported the crash occurred when a 2005 Ford Taurus, driven by Jade Parks, 18, Pequot Lakes, pulled out of a driveway in front of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee.
Parks was extricated by the Pillager Fire Department and transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
The driver of the Jeep, Erika Misenko, 38, Pillager, was transported to Essentia by private vehicle. The roadway was slippery at the time of the crash, the sheriff's office reported.
