Police investigate missing person report: Brainerd woman last seen Wednesday UPDATE: She has been found
A 27-year-old Brainerd woman, who is a vulnerable adult, was reported missing.
Britani Wilson's family reported her missing Thursday, Sept. 6, to Brainerd police. Wilson's mother, Sheila Black, said her daughter's boyfriend said he last saw her about 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Wilson was reportedly going to step out for a moment and never returned. Wilson lives in an upstairs apartment on the 700 block of South Ninth Street in Brainerd, which is across Pine Street from the Washington Educational Services Building.

Black said her daughter has severe epilepsy, a condition of the brain causing seizures, and she didn't believe her daughter had medication with her. She believed Wilson had her phone with her, but calls made to her daughter are going straight to voicemail. Black said her daughter is normally always on Facebook, but has not posted anything on social media.
"She doesn't understand danger," Black said of her daughter. "She may have gotten in a car with anybody."
Brainerd police is investigating the missing person report and reported they hope to locate Wilson soon.
Willie Navy of Brainerd is Wilson's boyfriend of seven to eight years. They share the Ninth Street apartment. Navy described Wilson as being about 5 feet 11 inches with reddish-brown hair and blue eyes.
Navy said Wilson was on her phone a lot Wednesday night. He said Wilson told him she was talking to a friend and was going out to meet with the friend, but she never came back.
"I wasn't worried at first," Navy said, as it was common for her to go out with friends. "I thought she would be back in about 10 minutes because she was meeting the friend outside. I fell asleep and woke up at midnight and she still wasn't home. I left the door open for her and when I woke up in the morning she was still gone and that concerned me."
Navy said Wilson has left a couple of times in the past with friends without telling him where she was going, including a couple years ago when she was in Duluth with a friend.
"I think she is somewhere in Minnesota," he said. "I want her to be safe."
Navy said the friend she was meeting lives out of town, according to her mother. Black said when Wilson took off in the past it was to do what she described as teenager stuff, not to step outside for a few minutes and not come back. And, Black said, they always stayed in touch.
"She wouldn't turn her phone off and not talk to us in that situation," Black said. "She would at least text and say 'I'm alive.' She calls me everyday like 12 times a day. This is really weird." Anyone with information on Wilson's whereabouts is asked to contact the Brainerd Police Department at 218-829-2805.
****UPDATE: Police stated the woman was found Friday night by St. Cloud police. *****
