Crosslake residents invited to comprehensive plan listening session

A Crosslake Comprehensive Plan community listening session will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Crosslake-Fifty Lakes American Legion. Pizza by the slice will be available for purchase.

The city of Crosslake is in the process of updating its comprehensive plan. In essence, the comprehensive plan is an expression of a community's vision for the future and a strategic road map to reach that vision.

Crosslake residents' knowledge and input are needed to help create a vision and an action plan that address the city's greatest achievements and greatest challenges.

At the listening session, the Crosslake Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee will engage community members on various community topics such as tourism, housing, transportation and natural resources.

All members of the public are welcome to attend and participate at the event. Community feedback is important for the success of the comprehensive planning process.

Those who are not able to attend in person are asked to participate by completing the online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MZX8X32.

Members of the public are invited to follow the comprehensive planning process by viewing the comprehensive plan steering committee meeting minutes online at
