Rangers end season for
Pequot Lakes boys
The No. 4-seeded Pequot Lakes boys' basketball season ended Saturday, March 13 with a 62-53 loss to top-seeded Crosby-Ironton in the South Subsection 8AA semifinals in Crosby. The Rangers advance to the subsection final while the Patriots finish 17-11 overall.

Preschool Pajama Night scheduled March 18 at Pequot Lakes Library
Preschoolers from birth through age 5 are invited to bring their teddy bears and wear their pajamas for a literacy night from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at the Pequot Lakes Library.

Pequot Lakes students participated in Elks Hoop Shoot
The 37th annual Elks Hoop Shoot Contest was Saturday, Dec. 19, at Forestview Middle School in Baxter. The free throw contest was for students ages 8-13, and it was the most successful turnout ever with schools participating from a 30-mile radius of Brainerd.
