Crosswoods Women's Leagues to begin in May

Crosswoods ladies open May 7

Opening play for the Crosswoods Ladies’ Golf League will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Crosswoods Golf Course on County Road 3 in Crosslake.

The group will meet for signup at the club house. Arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.

Membership fee is $13 and the GHIN fee is $24. Green fees will vary so check with the pro shop at 218-692-4653.

The league plays 18 holes on Mondays and nine holes on Wednesdays. Tee time Monday, May 12, will be 9 a.m. with arrival no later than 8:30 a.m.

Tee times will change the last week in May through the end of August to 8 a.m. Mondays and 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays. Arrive no later than a half hour before tee time.

Women of all ages are invited to join the league, regardless of skill level. The league plays nine holes on the back nine on Wednesdays and 18 holes on Monday. Play both days or just one day per week.

Each week the league plays different “game of the day” games. A spring luncheon will be held in June and a fall luncheon in September.

The league also participates in a Triangle Tournament with the Emily Greens and Howard’s Barn women’s leagues. Crosswoods League will host the tournament this summer.
