Judd Brink of MN Backyard Birds will present “Birdscaping Your Home” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd.
This program will discuss how you can attract more birds to your home with birdscaping. Native plantings of trees and shrubs combined with feeding stations can increase the number and variety of birds. Information about which feeders and food are best for the upcoming winter season will be provided along with how to provide water.
Brink has degrees in natural resources from Central Lakes College and Northland College in Ashland, Wis., and he completed the Master Naturalist program in 2011. He has 25 years of birding experience. Brink started MN Backyard Birds in March 2007.
This program is sponsored by the Brainerd Lakes Area Audubon Society and the Northland Arboretum. The program is free and open to anyone with an interest in nature. Refreshments will be provided.
