Three area golfers in top five

Jenny Muesing of Baxter finished second and Maggie Heggerston of Pequot Lakes was third in the final season standings of the Minnesota Section PGA Players’ Tour Series A points race.

Muesing a member of the Brainerd Warriors girls golf team scored 240 points through five events.

In four events, Heggerston scored 215.33 points.

Both trailed Kate Smith of Detroit Lakes, who tallied 357.50 points in four events.
