In the opener, White held the Wolverines to just four hits while walking one and striking out six while in the nightcap she allowed just two hits and one walk. However, it was at the plate where White raised havoc with the Wolverines. In the opening game, White went 2-3, scored twice and had three RBI.

The second game her bat took off. She walked in her first at bat, but the Patriots left the bases loaded. White then belted a grand slam in the second inning for a 4-0 lead. Later in the inning, White drilled a three-run homer and the Patriots had a 12-0 lead after just two innings.

The Patriots went down one-two-three in the third, but in the fourth White came to bat with a chance for a three-homer game and she didn’t let the Patriot fans down. She lined a two-run home run to center field.

White ended up with nine RBI for the game. She scored three more runs for five for the day and was 5-6 at the plate combined for both games.

In the first game the Patriots had everything going their way with six runs on six hits, with the big hits being a double by Kayla Miller and a home run by Emily Wgeishofski.

They put the game away in the second with nine more runs with the aid of Wolverine errors with Miller hitting a two-run single home run and Taylor Crocker a two-run double off the fence in right center.

Their final run came in the fourth when Hayley Weibolt got a double, went to third on an error and then scored on White’s ground out to short.

In the second game the team had different hits and Kayla Miller walked four times.

Besides White’s grand slam and three-run home run in the 12-run second, both Laura Squires and Emilee Buell got their first varsity hits in their first starts and both scored.
