Lightning fall to Mora

The visiting Northern Lakes Lighting boys’ hockey team was edged by the Mora Mustangs 3-2 in non-conference play on Monday, Feb. 10.

Jake Hyytinen and Josh Maucieri scored for Northern Lakes. Losing netminder Jaeger Reed had 35 saves.

The Lightning, 9-15, overall was to end the regular season against Prairie Centre (Long Prairie/Grey Eagle) on Tuesday, Feb. 11. The Section 6A playoffs open on Saturday, Feb. 15.
