Tigers edged by Menahga

Pine River-Backus’ Zach Struss scored 19 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, had four steals and four assists in a 67-61 non-conference loss to Menahga on Monday, Jan. 13.

Travon Pederson added 14 points for the Tigers and Konrad Bueckers added 11 points. PR-B had trailed 33-20 at the half before outscoring Menahga in the second half.

PR-B, 0-10 overall, is scheduled to face Wadena-Deer Creek on Tuesday, Jan. 14, and will host Walker-Hackensack-Akeley on Thursday, Jan. 16.
