The Bluejackets assumed a 2-0 lead in the second period on goals by Jordan Ramey and Kassidy Westrom just 1:24 apart. Isabella Abear then scored, assisted by Megan Snyder and Mariah Reed, at 15:07 of the middle period.

“We played very well and outshot them 35-26,” Harsha said, “but (C-I) capitalized on the couple shifts where we weren’t disciplined in playing our positions.”

Goaltender Hailey Deutsch stopped 24 shots while winning netminder Abbey Haug turned aside 34 shots.

Northern Lakes, 6-10 overall, played at St. Cloud Cathedral on Tuesday, Jan. 14, before hosting Park Rapids in a Mid-State Conference game on Thursday, Jan. 16, at Breezy Point Arena.
