In the powderpuff football game, the seniors scored first on Vanessa Lane’s 50-yard touchdown reception from Katie White.

The seniors eventually regained possession after a quarterback sack by Erin Rudbeck. Lane quickly added a 52-yard touchdown run, and with Shai Peterson’s two point conversion run, the seniors led 14-0.

The juniors were moving the ball late in the first half, but an interception by Kelsey Hart ended the threat.

In the second half, Rachel Allen had a couple nice runs for the juniors, but the drive eventually ended on a fumble that was recovered by Ellie Buschmann.

The seniors quickly moved the ball to the juniors’ 8-yard line. The seniors were hurt by penalties, including a touchdown run by Lane with 6:24 left that was called back by a holding penalty. The drive then ended on Taylor Crocker’s interception.

Caitie Ryan then had a long run for the juniors, and then Hart passed to Crocker for another big gain. But the drive ended with an interception with under two minutes remaining in the game to preserve the 14-0 shutout for the seniors.
