Tigers pound W-H-A 56-0

The Pine River-Backus Tigers football team heated up for eight rushing touchdowns to defeat the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves on a brisk Friday, Sept. 13, in Pine River.

“We thought we had the advantage upfront and would be able to run the ball against them,” said Tigers’ coach Tom Demars. “We executed very well and defense was well prepared we shut down every phase of their game.”
