Golf scramble raises more than $19,000 for food shelf

5th Annual Community Food Shelf Golf Scramble raised over $19,500 for the local food shelf with $10,000 from Accra who partnered with Our Savior’s Lutheran of Outing, Emily Greens Golf Course and Brandl Chevrolet of Aitkin.

Accra, who services all 87 counties in Minnesota, provides personalized quality care to meet the complete needs of the client in order to safely and effectively promote their independence in a home environment. The success is also due to all the golfers, volunteers, local businesses and hole sponsors of the event. This year 124 golfers participated and again surpassed the amount raised the prior year from raffles, donations and the silent auction.
