Blue Water Wells wins Bronco title

The Blue Water Wells team defeated Teledata Solutions 6-2 to claim the Northern League Bronco baseball title on Saturday, July 13.

Blue Water Wells broke open a tie game in the top of the fifth inning by scoring four runs on key hits by Dalton Ackerman, Tony Devries-Flinck, Harley Large, Logan Gordon and Max Dwyer.

“Austin Meister and Owen Seidl pitched excellent, and chalked up a lot of strikeouts,” said Blue Water coach Tony Flinck. “All of the boys played great defense throughout the game.”

Blue Water Wells, who is also coached by Dan Seidl, finishes 9-1-2 overall. They beat People’s Bank of Crosby and Lakeshore Construction of Pequot Lakes in the first two playoff games. Their only loss of the season came against Teledata Solutions.
