Nies wins at The Classic

EAST GULL LAKE — Andrew Israelson of Staples and Amanda Nies of Pequot Lakes won the third stop of the Brainerd Lakes Cup Sunday at The Classic at Madden’s.

Israelson fired a 75 to capture the boys title. Trent Hagenson shot a 76 for second and Pete Dahl placed third with an 81.

Nies shot a 95 for the top girls score. Lauren Herker finished second with a 100 and Alex Stone shot a 108 for third.
