The O’Dell family participated in a marksmanship clinic hosted by Project Appleseed at the Waite Park Rifle Club in St. Cloud on June 29-30. Participating were Chris and Stephanie O’Dell along with their children, Eli, 12, and Finnegan, 9.

Project Appleseed is an activity of The Revolutionary War Veterans Association (RWVA), a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching every American our shared heritage and history as well as traditional rifle marksmanship skills.

The rifle marksmanship program compliments our history and heritage. Participants learn the traditional American marksmanship skills. The RWVA recognizes the importance of introducing a wide cross section of Americans to their marksmanship heritage.

Young people with sufficient maturity are welcome to the Appleseed line and can, with parental permission, join the cadre. Marksmanship clinics are hosted throughout the year in various locations in Minnesota and across the country.
