The unique design of the Solorider cart has a swivel seat, electric lift, hand controls and automatic parking brake, and it is light enough to be driven on a green with no damage.

According to Mobilitygolf.com, only five golf courses in Minnesota have a accessible golf carts available for use.

β€œThe great thing about this cart is that it is available to the entire lakes area golf community. It has a trailer and can be requested for use anywhere in the local area,” said Mike Stone, fundraiser coordinator and owner of Crosswoods Golf Course in Crosslake.

The Golf Fore Life Scramble and silent auction capped off the fundraising Drive, which ultimately raised more than $11,000 for the cart and trailer.

For more information regarding the cart, contact Mike Stone at Crosswoods at 218-692-4653.
