Mager ties for 48th at state golf meet

PR-B’s Cody Mager at state – June 20

Pine River-Backus senior golfer Cody Mager finished tied for 48th overall with a two-day score of 85-90 - 175 at the Class A state boys’ golf tournament Tuesday and Wednesday, June 11-12, at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker.

Luke Johanson, a junior from Southwest Christian School, was medalist with a 141 while Mille Lacs won the Class A boys’ team title.

Mager also qualified for state last season when he finished tied for 29th overall.
