Basketball camp to be held at PR-B

A five-day basketball camp hosted by Joe Bueckers and Johnnie Gilbert will be held Monday-Friday, June 24-28, at Pine River-Backus High School.

Boys in grades 8-12 next fall will meet from 8-11 a.m. Girls in grades 8-12 next fall will meet from 1-4 p.m.

Cost is $125.

The camp is recommended for boys and girls looking to learn more about basketball fundamentals and skills.

“We have a fun teaching environment that emphasizes the improvement of your individual skill level,” said Bueckers, a PR-B graduate and former basketball player. “We will also have team competition daily. This will help you to prepare for a successful high school career.”
