The Pequot Lakes boys’ golf team finished 20th at the Brainerd Invitational on Thursday, May 23, at Grand View Lodge’s Preserve Golf Course.

Pequot Lakes’ Bradley Boldt shot 85 and Kevin Beltz shot 89.

Hastings and Chanhassen both shot 300s, which was the second-lowest team score in tournament history. Hastings won the tie-breaker to win the tournament, but Chanhassen’s Collin Seal fired a 3-under-par 68 for medalist honors.

Patriots 14th at Pines

Pequot Lakes finished 14th as Boldt shot a round of 85 and Beltz had 88 at the 16-team Brainerd Invitational on Wednesday, May 22, at Grand View’s Pines course.

Willmar finished first with 310 while the Patriots compiled a score of 361.
