Nisswa Lightning pound Cuyuna with 18 hits


The Nisswa Lightning pounded out 18 hits in defeating the Cuyuna Range Miners 13-4 in amateur baseball action on Monday, May 27, in Crosby.

Jason Roepke finished with four hits, including a two-run homer in the first inning, and in six innings.

Luke Schumer finished 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and two runs scored. Mark Germain was 2-3 with a double and Morgan Shepherd was 2-6.
