AAU team takes title

The Central Lakes Thunder AAU basketball team with Pequot Lakes, Crosby and Princeton sixth- grade girls are MYAS spring state champions with an overall season record of 13 wins and three losses. Team members will receive their state championship rings at a Minnesota Lynx game in August. The team includes, front row laying down, Danika Rademacher (Princeton) and Olivia Lane (Pequot); middle row, Kayla Neumann (Pequot), Britt Kratochvil (Pequot) and Shyanne Loiland (Crosby); back row, coach John Redding, Mackenzie Nelson (Pequot), Desera Engholm (Pequot), Alyssa Daugherty (Princeton), Mariah Bodle (Crosby), Emma Jo Nevin (Pequot), Jayda Redding (Princeton) and coach Tom Nelson.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
