Harman takes top gun honors

Week 4 of the Pine River-Backus/Pequot Lakes High School trap shoot competition resulted in Pequot Lakes student Quinn Harman shooting 25 straight and taking the “top gun” honors by shooting 47 out of 50.

Harman shot a first-round score of 22 and second-round perfection with 25 straight.

The Pine River-Backus/Pequot Lakes trap shoot team is in fourth place in Conference 10A with 44 total points behind Bloomington Jefferson and Thief River Falls, who are tied with 47 total points.

Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity/Watertown is in first place in the conference with 65 points after three weeks of competition.

The Week 4 points will be posted by Saturday.

Following are the top 10 PRB/PL shooters from Week 4: Harman, 47 out of 50; Shane Sepin, 43; Christian Burnet, Travis Aune and Dale Ford, 41 each; Bret Reed, 40; Oliver Erholtz, Logan Kangas and Logan Bauman, 39 each; and Jacob Roubal, 37.
