PL girls second at pre-section meet

Maggie Heggerston fired a 78 to finish four strokes off the lead as Pequot Lakes finished second in Tuesday’s Pre-Section 6AA meet at Blackberry Ridge in Sartell.

Ashlyn Guggisberg of Minnewaska was individual medalist with a 74 while Savannah Stone carded an 81 for the Patriots.

The Patriots were scheduled to play at the Crosby-Ironton Invitational at Ruttger’s on Tuesday, May 7, and then travel to Jordan on Friday, May 10.

Patriots win at Crosswoods

Heggerston carded a 71 to lead the Pequot Lakes to first place in their season opening triangular at Crosswoods golf course on Tuesday, April 30, in Crosslake.

Staples-Motley placed second led by Emily Israelron’s 79.
