6th-graders take 2nd

The Pequot Lakes sixth-grade girls’ basketball team placed second at the MYAS tournament Feb. 23 at Armstrong High School.  The team also took third place at the Paul Bunyan Classic in Brainerd on Feb. 15-16. The team includes, front row, Coach Chuck Lane, Lindsey Young, Kayla Neumann, Hannah LaRock and Desera Engholm; back row, Coach Andy Kratochvil, Emma Jo Nevin, Olivia Lane, Britt Kratochvil, Kenzie Nelson and Coach Tom Nelson.
