Tigers lost two at tourney

Beau Howard scored 17 points as Pine River-Backus fell to Barnum 67-34 in a non-conference boys’ basketball game on Saturday, Dec. 29, in Pine River.

The Tigers, who trailed 30-17 at intermission, dropped to 1-10 overall.

PR-B is scheduled to play at Nevis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11.
