Bible addresses Party Republicans

Matthew 7:9-12.

9) “Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

10) “Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11) “And ye then, being evil, know how to give gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father, which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

12) “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them (a bit of “the Golden Rule”), for this is the law and prophets.”

This bible voice comes to us out of the past, almost 2,000 years old, addressed directly to Party Republicans and Tea Pots (PR/TP’s) today! Miraculous. It admonishes them for their selfishness and greed, refusing to squeeze out even modest amounts of grain, figs, dates, fishes and wine to those in need among us, while the masters bloat themselves on the hill.

Using non-biblical similitude: would Matthew and Jesus cut food stamps for Wal-Marters (martyrs) and others, while extending farm subsidies to the wealthy among farmers? For shame PR/TP’s, whether one is Christian or not.

But PR/TP’s try to distract and cover their deadly sin, by praying loudly and publicly, in the streets and on the campaign trail.

Matthew 6:5. “And when thou prayed, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.”

Even an atheist can quote or misinterpret the Bible, correctly and incorrectly, as well or as badly as Fred Phelps, various popes, Rick Warren and dozens of other charlatans. “For although ye may bite of the poisonous fruit, least ye may not swallow.” Amen.
