Reduce speed to reduce crashes

Reduce speed

to reduce crashes

Each year, speeding is a leading fatal crash factor in Minnesota — resulting in hundreds of deaths and life-altering serious injuries.

These tragedies are so common and yet so preventable. As drivers we can’t put our schedules ahead of everybody else’s safety. We need to plan ahead for traffic and recognize that being late to our destination is better than not making it at all.

Ensuring safe roads is a result of all of us driving cooperatively, not competitively.

Let’s feel the need to drive at safe speeds.

If we all address this issue, we can spare our community, families and businesses from suffering the preventable deaths and life-altering injuries that take such a dramatic toll on all our lives and resources.
