Hats off to Pequot Lakes School

On behalf of the city of Breezy Point, I would like to say “hats off” to Pequot Lakes High School Principal Chip Rankin, faculty, students and the school board for organizing, participating and supporting the Day of Caring, which took place on Thursday, May 9.

The efforts of everyone involved made a wonderful difference in the spring cleanup work at city hall, the city hall gardens, Pelican Woods Cemetery, the Public Safety Building, the city Maintenance Building, the airport, the Breezy Point Hockey Arena, Four Seasons Trail and numerous city streets.

In addition, the work done by students, faculty and community volunteers assisting with private yard cleanup was greatly appreciated. To the person, the students involved were productive, friendly and a pleasure to be around.

Please accept our sincere thanks.

JoAnn Weaver,

Mayor of Breezy Point
