Day of Caring appreciated in Crosslake

The city of Crosslake applauds the effort put forth by Pequot Lakes students on Thursday, May 9. The Day of Caring was a venture led by Chip Rankin and Pequot Lakes High School students along with the teaching staff.

Students completed community projects in Crosslake and other local cities that included landscaping, raking, painting and any other tasks that local businesses, citizens or public facilities had to offer. The students put forth great effort in completing these tasks and it was noticed by city staff, the city council and the residents of the Crosslake area.

We hope that the program will continue in the future and look forward to working with Mr. Rankin and the rest of the staff and students of Pequot Lakes High School. The city of Crosslake would like to thank all who were involved in organizing this successful event.
