Normally I would agree with Jean Herzog that we should respect our president. Also, I have no concerns that my character might go to hell in a handbag.
In my career I met many obstacles by turning around manufacturing divisions and by directing some of our computer technology into national recognition.
In my tour on our town board we were able to hold our budgets with zero increases for seven consecutive years. In fact, Gov. Carlson gave our township an award for being the best run township in the state. We accomplished this by understanding and taking actions to make us more productive.
We didn’t have to lie about what we were doing. I don’t shoot from the hip!
The purpose of my article was to get at least 50 percent of our citizens to understand what is going on in our federal government. Remember, Hitler led Germany with one lie and illegal action after another.
My suggestion is our citizens should watch Fox News, channel 57 on Charter, for one month from 7-10 p.m. each evening. Take notes but don’t trust Fox News. Just use their information to follow up with the federal non-partisan budget analysis. You will be able to determine the facts.
I am one who has had extensive operational and budget responsibilities so our president reminds me of a deer caught in the headlights.
