Superintendent thanks residents for renewing referendum

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the residents of Pequot Lakes Area School District for renewal of the $1.01 referendum.

This referendum is very beneficial and important in continuing the education of our students. Although this is not new money, the dollars are very important to this school district.

Residents of this district should have an expectation of increased quality/rigor of education during the tenure of this referendum. New educational initiatives, best practices, current education philosophies as well as updated technology would be appropriate areas of expenditures defined for these referendum dollars.

Again, thanks to the area residents for keeping the education of our students a priority in our school district.

Rick Linnell,

Superintendent of Schools
