Give to the Max Day

Give to the Max Day

Last year more than 47,000 individual donors logged on to and gave more than $13 million to nearly 4,000 Minnesota charities and nonprofits in 24 hours during Give to the Max Day.

The Crisis Line and Referral Service is celebrating 25 years of service of providing a confidential and non-judgmental 24/7 crisis line for people who need a listening ear, information, referral resources and crisis mental health service intervention to six counties: Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd and Wadena.

Children, teens, young adults, middle-aged adults and the elderly all have used our service. Issues they face include teen-age pregnancy, suicide, depression, financial assistance and respite care for a spouse who has Alzheimer’s disease.

The Crisis Line has taken more than 80,000 calls since it began in 1988.

Crisis Lines and Referral Service, together with giving website for nonprofits in Minnesota, is working to create a stronger nonprofit community in Minnesota.

Give throughout the day, as “Golden Ticket” donor drawings will be done every hour with the chance for us to win a $1,000 prize grant.

By giving online with GiveMN, the Crisis Line and Referral has the opportunity to make a huge difference in our area. We hope you will help support our community by logging on to on Nov. 15 and give to the Crisis Line and Referral Service and our Suicide Prevention Program.

Be a part of this historical event and join this “Great Minnesota Give Together.” Please mark Nov. 15 as the fourth annual Give to the Max Day.
