Robert “Bud” Flaherty, born Aug. 12, 1931, passed away Dec. 11, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Luck); children, Mark, Jill, Paul (Jeanne) and Diane Moyle (Richard); and seven grandchildren.

Bud is a Korean War vet. He retired after 36 years from the Burlington Northern Railroad. A celebration of his life was at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at O’Halloran and Murphy-Woodbury Funeral Home. Gathering of family and friends began at 4 p.m. until the start of the service at the funeral home. A gathering followed at O’Malley’s Pub in Woodbury.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Legion of Pequot Lakes, c/o Jack Schmidt. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
